Tool of the Year – Contender Number Six – Liam Stacey

You might be asking, who the fuck is that? Well I’m going to tell you if you show a little patience.

Liam Stacey is a vile excuse for a human being, who decided it would be a good idea to make fun out of Fabrice Muamba, the Bolton Wanderers footballer who suffered an on-the-pitch cardiac arrest.

In case you don’t know, on Saturday 17 March, Fabrice Muamba was playing for Bolton at Spurs in an FA Cup tie when he collapsed suddenly on the pitch. Physios from both teams attended to him as well as medical staff, while both sets of supporters chanted his name. He was later taken to hospital while attempts to revive him continued.

And yet, while regular human beings, watching on TV were shocked to see what happened to Muamba, while regular human beings prayed for the best yet feared the worst for the footballer, Liam Stacey decided it would be fun to use Twitter to post sick, racist comments about the player.

Having read the comments that he made, I feel unable to share with you, however rest assured that these are just as vile as the person who wrote them. Stacey then tried to cover himself, claiming his Twitter account was hacked, these were not his views and, the old favourite, some of his friends were from ‘different cultural backgrounds.’

My. Fucking. Arse.

If he honestly thinks we’re going to believe that shit then he might as well believe the Easter Bunny will still deliver his chocolate eggs while he’s rotting in a jail cell. This guy openly admits to drinking considerably during that day and then claims he doesn’t know why he posted them. So your account wasn’t hacked as previously claimed? Lying bastard.

It makes me sick to think that human beings can act like this. It turns my stomach to think that someone can be so full of hate, just because of the colour of their skin. If you are racist, if you want to make sick, vile comments about people on the edge of death, that’s up to you, but don’t go posting them on social networking sites for all to see.

Thankfully, the British police have acted on this and now we can hope that the courts don’t let us down, but don’t hold your breath.

Fabrice Muamba continues to make progress in his recovery and we hope to see him back playing one day.

As for Liam Stacey, I hope you rot in your jail cell and, after you’ve been fucked by several inmates, you’ll now think twice before making your sick, racist views public. You really are a contender for Tool of the Year.

May the force be with you
