Starr, who has been interviewed and bailed twice by police,
has been told that he is not allowed to spend time with his kids unless under
supervision following allegations that me molested a fourteen year old girl in
Jimmy Savile’s dressing room almost forty years ago.
Now the 69 year old faces allegations that he has been posing
as an entertainer for a number of years, prompting further complaints from
outraged members of the public and demands that the title be permanently disassociated
from him.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said “We have been
looking into the sex abuse claims but to be honest, this is just as serious so
we’re taking these allegations seriously and they will be fully investigated.
“But in fairness, it’s amazing how no-one has come forward
before now. I mean, I’ve seen his shows; he was a bit shit as a comedian and
about as funny as syphilis.”
Starr appeared on our TV screens during the 70’s and 80’s, apparently
amusing people with a series of slapstick comedy sketches, which were about as
funny then as they are now or, in other words, they were not fucking funny. But
even in those days, people were sceptical about his ability as a comedian and
indeed an entertainer.
“I never found him funny,” said Jim a 49 year old bricklayer
from Whitby . “I
personally think he was a bit of a knob if I’m being honest.”
And Jane Lawson from Newbury said “I regularly watch Songs
of Praise and I’ve got to admit that it is much funnier than any of Freddie
Starr’s work.
“I honestly can’t believe he was able to pass himself of as
an entertainer for so long. The courts had better throw the book at him, but he’ll
probably try and make some sort of slap stick scenario out of it, the wanker.”
Investigations from the Fraud Squad are continuing and hope
to make an announcement soon, unless Starr swings a ladder from over his
shoulder and knocks them out or some other shit, outdated scenario.
